The Klimabonus funds roof insulation at €60/m² (+€15/m² performance bonus) in 2026. The maximum amount requires a minimum thermal performance. Low-income households benefit from a 25% increase. The approval in principle must be obtained before work begins. The Enoprimes premium can be combined with it.
In 2026, the Klimabonus reaches up to €15,000 for a geothermal heat pump and up to €12,000 for an air-to-water one. Wall insulation is funded at €80/m² (+€20/m² performance bonus). Low-income households receive 25% more. Carrying out at least 3 types of work within 24 months adds a 15% bonus.
The 3% housing VAT, instead of 17%, applies to renovation work on a dwelling completed at least 10 years ago. It covers the main residence, second homes and rental properties. The tax benefit is capped per dwelling. The details are set out on guichet.lu.
The Klimabonus, municipal grants and the Enoprimes premium can all be combined in 2026. Each municipality sets its own premiums; check with your municipal administration. The Enoprimes premium must be requested before the quote is signed. The Klimabonus approval in principle must precede the start of work.
The Klimabonus funds an air-to-water heat pump up to €12,000 and a geothermal one up to €15,000. Replacing a fossil-fuel heating system is required: oil and gas boilers are no longer eligible since 2025. A 25% increase applies to low-income households. A climate loan can finance the remaining cost.
Yes, for a single measure. The Klimabonus 2026 does not require energy advice for one type of work, for example replacing the windows. Advice becomes mandatory for a renovation covering several elements. In every case, the approval in principle must precede the work.
