The topup Klimabonus is an automatic increase of base grants, awarded under resource conditions. It can increase your grants by 25% to 100% depending on your situation.
This supplement applies to all Klimabonus programme grants: insulation, windows, heating, solar panels, etc.
Eligibility Conditions
The topup is awarded based on the household’s taxable income and composition.
For a single-person household, the 100% topup applies up to €40,000 annual income, and the 50% topup applies from €40,000 to €55,000.
For a couple, the 100% topup applies up to €65,000, and the 50% topup from €65,000 to €90,000.
For a family with children, thresholds are increased by €10,000 per dependent child.
Example: A couple with two children and income of €80,000 benefits from the 100% topup. Their grants are doubled.

Cumulable with the 25% Bonus
The topup is cumulable with the 25% bonus valid until end of 2025. A household eligible for the 100% topup and submitting their application before end of 2025 can see their grants multiplied by 2.5.
Calculation: Base grant × 1.25 (25% bonus) × 2 (100% topup) = Base grant × 2.5
