The Klimabonus programme provides a 25% increase on all grants for applications submitted before 31 December 2025. Concretely, a base grant of €10,000 becomes €12,500.
This increase applies to all grants: insulation, windows, heat pump, solar panels, energy audit.
Concrete example: For a heat pump eligible for €10,000 base grant, you receive €12,500 if your application is submitted before end of 2025, compared to only €10,000 from 2026.
How to Benefit from the Bonus
To benefit from the 25% increase, you must submit your agreement in principle application before 31 December 2025. Works can be carried out after this date.
The steps are as follows. First, have an energy audit or detailed quote prepared. Second, compile your grant application file. Third, submit your application on guichet.lu before 31 December. Fourth, carry out the works within the allowed timeframe, generally 2 years.
The Most Profitable Works
With the 25% bonus, certain works become particularly attractive.
Roof insulation can be subsidised up to €75/m² instead of €60/m². Window replacement reaches €62.50/m² instead of €50/m². Heat pumps can benefit from up to €12,500 instead of €10,000.
